Heard On Macca

This morning listening to Australia All Over I heard this poem (as I remember it)

The little boy said “Grand Pa sometimes I drop my spoon”

The Old Man said “Sometimes I do too”

The little boy said “Grand Pa sometimes I wet my pants”

The old man said “Sometimes so do I”

The little boy said “Grand Pa, sometimes I just cry”

The old man said “That’s alright boy, cause sometimes so do I”

Then the boy said “The worst thing is sometimes the grown-ups don’t listen to me”

Then the old man took the child’s hand in his and squeezing gently  said “I know exactly how you feel.”
