Last week I had the great pleasure of attending my youngest son’s graduation from the University of NSW. While seated in the Sir John Clancy Auditorium and waiting for the ceremony to get underway I carefully looked though the Graduation Ceremony Booklet for my sons name. I began to shed a few tears when I read he was graduating with Honours. I’m sure he had told be but I had forgotten. These were and are tears of joy!
I graduated many years ago with a B.Sc.(Hons).
Sam (my oldest) graduated a few years ago with B.Sc.(Hons),
Now Zac (my youngest) has graduated with B.E.(Hons).
I am honoured by my children.
I hope, and believe that they will encourage their children to honour our new tradition.
