Recently I completed a post on my mobile (on a “speeding” train) (Click to see Blog). My experience that day re-enforced my previous experiences trying to do “constructive” things with mobile tech and their “smart” APPs.
The aborted first line of this post is an example of my experience, It didn’t quite complete but I was lucky in the sense that WordPress AutoSaved it as a draft. This video attempts to illustrate some of the issues.
Also as a interesting side note, I did some playing with the background PHP to allow me to (theoretically) upload a decent sized file directly into WordPress – (The above video). It appears to be still uploading and I have in the meantime connected via an FTP client and uploaded the file (a trifling 143 MB) and linked it via a URL path. This process is simple and straight forward for me but near impossible (I would imagine) for the average user.
